Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Maiden, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access-control systems, and dispatch resources in response to incidents. You will maintain clear records, support a professional customer experience, and help promote a secure environment through timely communication and teamwork. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and/or access control activity; document events and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch requests for assistance, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other required records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency responders to support timely responses and help to deter unauthorized activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
