Growing together.We seek aPer Diem Pharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Location: 5411 Coliseum Blvd, Ste B, Alexandria, LA, 71303Schedule:This is a Per Diem role where we would ask that you fill in for PTO and call outs during the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm CTPrimary Responsibilities:Providesexceptional customer servicetoall consumersandmembersofthe clinic staffFillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailablefor verificationunderdirect supervisionoftheregisteredpharmacistOrders,receivesand storesincomingpharmacy suppliesReceivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationordersVerifiesmedication stockandentersdatain computertomaintaininventoryrecordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartmentCommunicateswith solidprofessional verbalandwritten communication skillsOtherdutiesasassignedYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana1+ years of previous Retail Pharmacy Technician experience within the last 5 yearsAccess to reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:National Pharmacy Technician Certification Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
