Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Physician

Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Board Certified/Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This vibrant and family-oriented community is situated along the shores of Lake Erie, offering a unique blend of urban and natural environments. The selected physician will have the chance to work in a highly regarded labor and delivery unit, supported by a team of skilled professionals and specialists.

As part of a multispecialty physician group affiliated with a prominent health system, we have outpatient facilities spread across the Buffalo-Niagara Region. Our organization benefits from a robust support staff and ancillary services within a network of four integrated hospitals, establishing a strong multi-specialty presence in Western New York.

Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Annual Salary: $340,000 - $375,000

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a degree from an accredited medical school, either as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
  • Active medical license to practice in New York State, along with a valid DEA certificate
  • Board certification in OB/GYN is required
  • Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) is necessary
Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine care for all obstetrical patients, including those classified as high-risk
  • Deliver in-house obstetrical services, which encompass emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal births, and operative vaginal births, as well as rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients
  • Offer backup support to obstetrical providers upon request, including VBAC coverage
