CDL A Truck Driver

Job Title

This position involves attending an ABF Freight-approved driver training school. Program graduates will perform the duties of a checker/driver combined dock/P&D employee.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• CDL-A permit
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain CDL-A with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsement.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.

• Compensation: This is a hourly position paid weekly.

After completion of the 6 week training and passing a road test, the wage will be $29.35 with full scale wages in 1 year.
