Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologist

Our organization is on the lookout for exceptional anesthesiologists to deliver anesthesia services at our facility in Altoona. Ideal candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM
• On-call: Available every day with beeper call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• CRNA Supervision: Target concurrency of 2.75:1
• Team Composition: 13 anesthesiologists and 31 CRNAs
• Academic Appointment: Yes

About Our Facility

Our hospital and regional health system cater to a primary service area that includes six counties in central Pennsylvania, serving a patient population of approximately 350,000. The secondary and tertiary service areas for trauma and stroke services extend across 18 counties, encompassing a total population of 1,000,000.
