Location: Must currently reside in either San Diego or Atlanta metropolitan areas; relocation is not being considered for this role.

COMPENSATION & CULTURE

• Salary for the Account Supervisor is $94,000

YOUR ROLE

As an Account Supervisor at Mixte, you will be the Principal's eyes and ears on their clients and team. This role will report to a Principal while partnering and collaborating daily with other Directors, the Communication Manager and Strategists.

LEADERSHIP

• Work closely and act as a strategic thought partner with the Principal on 3-5 client accounts, including drafting strategies and Momentum Models
• In addition to working closely with a Principal on key accounts, lead a portfolio of 3-5 client accounts and develop trusting, long-term relationships with clients who renew contracts year over year
• Ensure Mixte's billing fits within the clients' approved budgets
• Allocate appropriate team member tasks with assigned hours for each client Scope of Work and maintain each clients' cumulatively staff hours under 5% of their respective budget
• Facilitate collaboration and identify creative solutions to bring a project to completion 
• Prioritize which tasks across public relations, digital community building and strategic communications are most important based on their size, scope and timeliness while keeping long-term milestones in sight
• Determine which team member is best suited for which task and think ahead of project needs to ensure staff have the capacity to complete a project to the best of their ability
• Use your emotional intelligence to foresee and respond to client concerns before they materialize into something bigger
• Help develop solutions for necessary processes, noticeable trends, company-wide systems, and shared client and team needs

CREATIVE WORK

• Schedule, lead and document meetings with creative teams and clients, tracking project progress against goals, objectives and timelines
• Develop and manage complex project timelines, workloads and deliverables for the Principal to ensure projects are delivered on time and on-brief
• Collaborate with strategists to develop stellar work for clients by pushing the creative envelope, hitting high quality standards and ensuring creative moves the needle on social justice issues
• Review and assess incoming requests and briefs, and request additional information as needed
• Oversee the development of communications deliverables that align with client plans, including over all client strategy leading into campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, audience personas, creative assets and all forms of written content

BUSINESS GROWTH

• Cultivate and earn new business for the company by developing proposals and reaching outreach goals 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Exceptional decision-making, organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
• At least 6 years of experience in a communications or marketing agency - this is non negotiable 
• At least 4 years of proven supervisory experience managing 4-6 mid level professionals 
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
• Experience in Asana, Slack and Google Workspace preferred
• A demonstrated commitment to equity, cultural humility and learning
