Automotive Senior Technician

Position Summary The Senior Technician will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor team members, and drive high levels of customer care and satisfaction. A $1,500 sign‑on bonus is offered for first‑time hires. Pay Range: $20.60 – $33.47 per hour. Technicians earn flat‑rate pay for each eligible task, with bonuses for ASE test passes. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems. Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals. Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training. Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities. Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment. Minimum Qualifications Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles. Proven skill in brakes and hydraulics or steering & suspension and alignments. Proficiency in general automotive maintenance and tire repair. Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable. Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people. Reading, writing and math skills. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of automotive repair experience. Demonstrated skills via third‑party assessments or certifications. Completion of a Vocational‑Technical School Program.
