Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-level care in a busy PCU environment. The ideal candidate will manage multiple long-term patients, perform advanced clinical tasks, and adapt to various hospital settings as needed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care in a PCU setting, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical protocols.
  
  
• 
  Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, titrate IV drips, and care for peripheral lines and PICC lines.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  float between different campuses as required, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
  
  
• 
  Complete EPIC-based documentation accurately and efficiently during shifts.
  
  
• 
  Pass a compliance EKG exam and participate in orientation modules to meet hospital standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license and submit verification prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU/PCU experience, with cardiac telemetry expertise.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR system and EKG interpretation.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have experience managing dysrhythmias and peripheral/PICC lines in a high-acuity setting.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work 3x12-hour day shifts, weekends, and holidays with no call.
