About the Role:

As a Corporate Recruiter within the construction industry, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to support the company’s growth and project demands. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic workforce planning. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction sector’s unique hiring needs, including technical and trade positions, to effectively match candidates with the right opportunities. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR teams to develop recruitment strategies that enhance employer branding and candidate experience. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the company’s ability to build a skilled, diverse, and motivated workforce that drives operational success and project excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the construction or related industries.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience recruiting for technical and skilled trade positions within construction.
• Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or AIRS Certified Recruiter.
• Familiarity with workforce planning and talent acquisition analytics.
• Demonstrated success in employer branding and social media recruiting strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of construction roles, including project managers, engineers, skilled trades, and administrative staff.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating offer negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide consultative support throughout the hiring process.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics to monitor hiring progress, identify bottlenecks, and improve recruitment efficiency.
• Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and through social media to enhance employer brand visibility and attract passive candidates.
