Restaurant General Manager

Job Description The Restaurant General Manager leads the operations of a quick-service restaurant, overseeing a medium-sized management team of 10-30 members. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role ensures smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and effective financial and inventory control. The General Manager also manages vendor relationships and compliance, maintaining high-quality standards while occasionally traveling for meetings. Responsibilities Manage and lead staff to maintain operational efficiency Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve related issues Oversee budget, financial reporting, and cost control Maintain inventory levels and control waste Create and manage employee schedules Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies Develop and conduct staff training programs Maintain positive vendor relationships Monitor food quality and service standards Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in restaurant management Associate degree in Business Administration or related field Strong skills in operations management and staff leadership Proficient in customer service and inventory control Experience with budgeting and financial oversight Ability to resolve conflicts effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong time management abilities Company Description Genesh, Inc. is a multi-unit franchise restaurant operator with locations across Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana.
