Job Title: Senior IT Systems Analyst Epic SER

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Position Overview

The Senior IT Systems Analyst will support Epic provider records and related provider data processes. This role requires advanced hands-on experience with Epic SER/Provider Records, including building and maintaining provider records, troubleshooting complex provider data issues, and supporting incidents and tickets during business hours.

The ideal candidate can work independently, communicate directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and understand how provider data flows across Epic and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic provider records and provider-related data.

• Work with Epic SER/Provider Records, including Login Blueprints and SER Blueprints.

• Support ePrescribing/Surescripts, External Directories, Care Teams, and Record Merges.

• Triage and resolve incidents and tickets during business hours.

• Troubleshoot complex provider data issues and determine appropriate resolutions.

• Communicate directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding provider data issues and requests.

• Document changes, testing activities, issue resolutions, and related processes.

• Support change control and testing activities.

• Work independently with minimal oversight while managing assigned issues and priorities.

Required Certification

• Epic Provider Administration badge REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced hands-on experience with Epic SER / Provider Records .

• Experience with Login Blueprints and SER Blueprints .

• Experience with ePrescribing/Surescripts, External Directories, Care Teams, and Record Merges.

• Advanced incident and problem resolution experience, including ticket triage and resolution.

• Strong stakeholder and customer communication skills.

• Strong independent problem-solving skills.

• Experience with documentation, change control, and testing.

Strongly Desired

• Epic Security certification.

Preferred Skills

• Clarity and SQL experience.

• Epic Security, including User/SER record integration and Provider Maintenance Security.

• Experience working with external and referring provider addresses and organization records.

• Exposure to interfaces and integrations, including Bridges.

• Understanding of master data management principles, including:

  • Source-of-truth ownership

  • Provider and identity matching

  • Duplicate management

  • Data synchronization

  • Provider and facility data governance

• Experience with AI tools and automation.

Trainable / Helpful Experience

• External data feeds such as MDM, QuARQ, and MD-Staff.

• ServiceNow.
