Overview

The Commissioning Associate is responsible for working as a member of the commissioning team in order to confirm that building systemsare designed, installed, and operated to meet the building owner's project requirements and the design intent. They will frequently interact with the owner, owner's representatives, contractors, design engineers, and architects to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
• Generates pre-functional checklists.
• Generates functional performance tests.
• Performs functional performance tests.
• Observes equipment startup and prepares reports.
• Performs project site observations and updates issues log.
• Attends and/ or Leads Construction and Commissioning coordination meetings
• Schedules and coordinates commissioning activities with multiple parties.
• Reviews contractor documentation.
• Participates in owner training.
• Assists with development of the commissioning plan, and final commissioning report
• Ensure client deliverables meet ENFRA's quality standards at delivery
• Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Upholds ENFRA's owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willingto tackle variousongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
• Able to interact with owner, owner's representatives, contractors, engineers, and architects in a professional manner.
• Versed in the industry and the Company'scompetitors.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Experience with building construction; mechanical electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, and/or testing, adjusting and balancing.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• ANSI Commissioning certification credentials (e.g. BCCB, ACG, ASHRAE,etc.)

Travel Requirements

• 25-40% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
Climbing stairs.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Operating machinery and/or power tools

Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind

Noisy environment

Physical Demands

Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds

Pay Range

USD $24.28 - USD $32.44 /Hr.
