This position supports and assists adults with a developmental disability and/or mental illness in the Intensive/Transitional Support Program. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans and behavior management plans as established by an interdisciplinary team. Responsible for modeling appropriate behavior; monitoring, observation, and assessment; crisis intervention, prevention, and utilizing de-escalation strategies; and maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Additional support may include assisting in personal care and guiding skill development in daily tasks of living. Responsible for respecting the rights and dignity of the individuals we serve. Position requires patience, critical thinking skills, and decision-making ability.
