This company specializes in providing medical device products to hospitals and surgery centers. The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting medical devices from a local warehouse to assigned hospitals.
Job Highlights:
- Deliver medical devices to hospitals for surgeries and ensure products are dropped off in the correct areas
- Retrieve devices/instruments post-use, verify completeness, and communicate with hospital staff regarding missing items
- Move and verify instrument trays and implants across facilities, ensuring correct labeling and accurate counts
- Communicate estimated arrival times to the Warehouse Dispatcher and work efficiently to complete the assigned route
- Follow safety protocols while driving and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the company vehicle
- Assist warehouse personnel with stocking, scanning, and pulling items as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Positive team player with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
- Reliable with a successful employment history and punctual attendance
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow directions closely and maintain effective communication with the team
- Comfortable using a smartphone for route tracking and task verification
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; further education preferred
- Previous logistics or professional driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
