Customer Service Representative

New role in the Stevens Point area as a Service Representative! Become a vital part of our dedicated sales team! In this position, you will be the key link between our organization and our valued customers, ensuring seamless order management, fostering strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service from inquiry to invoice. With opportunities to influence sales growth and collaborate across departments, your efforts will directly impact our mission to provide high-quality agricultural products while maintaining operational excellence. This is a try-before-hire opportunity.

Wage: $20.00-30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM 
**On site daily

What you’ll do:

• Manage customer orders across multiple communication channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Source and procure potato supply inventory to meet customer specifications.
• Act as a liaison with plant managers, growers, and customers to coordinate order fulfillment.
• Monitor order progression, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to guarantee on-time delivery.
• Communicate proactively and professionally with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and foster long-term relationships.
• Assist in account receivable management, review payment statuses, and work closely with the accounting team to resolve delays.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and maintain organized records to support operational and sales objectives.
• Embody the companies core values, demonstrating respect, collaboration, and integrity daily.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with active listening prowess.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical abilities to interpret data and troubleshoot issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in customer service or sales for at least two years.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with inventory management or agricultural supply chains.
• Prior experience working with clients such as McCain, Frito Lay, or Grimmway Produce Group.
• Comfort working in both office and outdoor environments.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of two years in a customer service or sales role, ideally within the agricultural or supply chain sectors.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing and agricultural setting.
• Physically capable of occasional lifting, terrain navigation, and working in varied environmental conditions.
• Flexibility to adapt to business needs and contribute as part of a team.
