Program Coordinator

Advise and support Center-affiliated student organizations on organizational development, recruitment, leadership transitions, succession planning, University policies, event planning, and sustainability Develop student leadership opportunities through officer training, workshops, leadership development, and coaching Coordinate student programming and engagement, including maintaining a master calendar of events, cultural celebrations, educational programs, and targeted engagement initiatives Support culture, identity, and belonging initiatives with diverse student organizations and communities Foster collaboration among student organizations, academic and administrative departments, faculty, staff, and campus partners Assist with Center-wide programming and strategic initiatives Manage event logistics, organizational records, budgets, purchasing, communications, and administrative processes Develop communication and outreach strategies through digital and campus channels Assess organization and program effectiveness using participation data, student feedback, and other methods Identify emerging student needs and communicate trends, concerns, and recommendations to Center leadership Participate in Center programs, committees, trainings, and special projects Requirements Bachelor's Degree required 1-3 years of paraprofessional experience in student engagement/programming Ability to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to travel when necessary Ability to work with major campus stakeholders Ability to relate, motivate, advise, and mentor students Ability to develop and foster an inclusive environment Ability to multitask, be detail oriented, and complete tasks and projects successfully Proficient or advanced competency in Google Docs, social media platforms, related productivity applications, and PeopleSoft Excellent communication skills Ability to work with culturally diverse populations Ability to excel in team environments Must successfully pass a background check, including employment, educational and credential verification and criminal records checks Visa sponsorship is not eligible Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in student engagement and programming, with a focus on leadership development, event coordination, and fostering inclusive environments.
