This role ensures laundry items are handled according to brand and company standards and supports the housekeeping team with timely and accurate linen delivery.# JOB DESCRIPTION**Job Title**: Laundry Attendant **Departments:** Housekeeping **Supervision Exercised:** None**Supervision Received:** Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Housekeeping Manager**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS****Education*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.**Experience*** Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.* Hospitality environment experience a plus.**Skills & Knowledge*** Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.* Strong attention to detail and quality standards.* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs.* Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.* Good time management skills and ability to work independently.* Knowledge of laundry chemicals and safety procedures preferred.**Job Duties & Responsibilities*** Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and terry according to hotel standards.* Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.* Monitor laundry supply levels and alert management when ordering is needed.* Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and remove items as needed.* Deliver clean linens to storage rooms or floors as directed.* Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical use.* Assist the housekeeping team with additional tasks when needed.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
