Among them are mining, particularly copper for electronics applications, production of electric vehicles and the ongoing expansion of data centers across the globe, and industrial applications including our customers' production of nylon precursors, production of lead acid batteries for all types of vehicles, industrial and municipal water treatment, and refining and petrochemical processes.What we have to offer:Competitive payFull benefit package starting day 1401k matchingTuition ReimbursementPosition Overview:The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the mechanical & instrument/electrical maintenance functions for the plant.What you will be doing:Responsible for the planning and daily operations of the maintenance department, including contractors.Provide primary customer interface to plant operations.Maintain Maintenance forecast and monitor spending.Oversee area maintenance and capital activities.Drive improvement in Planning and Scheduling Activities, Backlog Mgmt., PM Compliance and Optimization, reliability, and TA Planning and Execution.Ensure compliance with regulatory mechanical integrity inspections.Perform performance assessments to drive improvement.Drive area improvement by creating and maintaining an accountability culture.Ensure that all company and regulatory requirements are met for Maintenance Employees.Develop subordinates.Ability to work additional hours to accomplish objectives and ensure high performance of the plant. This includes carrying a cellular phone and making call outs.Participate in Maintenance Network Team activity.Facility Security Officer (FSO/AFSO) duties as needed.Participation in Employee Excellence CommitteeRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (B.S. Engineering) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.8 or more years of maintenance and/or plant engineering experience.Must be knowledgeable on industrial maintenance best practices.Must have excellent people and supervisory skills.Be able to obtain a TWIC card.Must be knowledgeable in basic accounting & budgeting fundamentals.Must be able to perform mathematical calculations.Must be proficient with all applicable computer systems (MS Office, SAP, etc.).Must be proficient with OSHA safety regulations.
