Travel RN – ICU Float Pool (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 26-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | 48 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 75% Weekend Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU settings including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience and unit need
• Provide direct patient care for ICU-level patients including sedated, intubated, and vasopressor-dependent patients at a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining a 1:3 patient ratio
• Potentially accept multiple different unit assignments within a single shift as directed by staffing needs
• Document and manage patient care using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Demonstrate strong team communication and a commitment to outstanding patient safety and care quality

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to care for sedated, intubated, and vasopressor-dependent ICU patients
• Flexibility to float across multiple ICU and IMC units, including potential multiple assignments within a single shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiac, CTICU)
• Demonstrated adaptability and strong interpersonal communication skills in high-acuity float pool environments
