Snowflake Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Software Developer with extensive experience in software development and a strong focus on Snowflake technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Snowflake, SnowSQL, and Apache Spark, and will be responsible for leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Snowflake, SnowSQL, and Apache Spark. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices. Optimize and maintain existing software applications to improve performance and responsiveness. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Snowflake and data engineering. Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on timelines and resource allocation. Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for future reference. Mandatory Skills Data Modeling ETL Processes Performance Tuning Proficiency in SnowSQL for querying and managing Snowflake databases. Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7–10 years of experience in software development with a focus on data engineering and analytics. Proven experience leading development teams and delivering successful projects.
