Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
