Engineering Equipment OperatorThe Engineering Equipment Operator operates gasoline- and diesel-powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled traction. This includes the operation of all facility owned or rental equipment to perform such functions as cutting, moving, digging, grading, and rolling earth, sand, stone, snow, and other materials. Equipment may include: wheel skid loader with attachments, front end loaders, forklifts, backhoes, and trench diggers, mowing, and trimmers. You will be responsible for loading dump trucks with materials such as salt, sand, loam and mulch. Incumbent will prepare soil for plants, seeds, trim, prune, fertilize plants and shrubs. Performs other duties as assigned. You will be required to obtain a Massachusetts Hoist Operators License once hired in order to operate commercial sized dump truck with hydraulic attachments.
