Synergy Solar Inc. is seeking a high-caliber Traveling Solar Assistant Foreman to support the operational execution of large-scale solar construction portfolios across the United States. Serving the commercial, industrial, utility, and federal sectors, this position is designed as a direct stepping stone for an ambitious construction professional ready to transition from a hands-on builder into a seasoned, traveling site supervisor.

In this role, you will be paired directly with a Senior Site Foreman, receiving top-tier technical mentorship while helping command field crew logistics, material workflows, and rigorous safety controls. What You Will Be Doing

You will serve as the secondary authority on site, driving operational execution, risk mitigation, and supply chain integrity:

• Site Operations Leadership: Synchronize daily with the Site Foreman regarding project milestones, micro-schedules, mechanical crew readiness, and deployment logistics.
• Crew Architecture & JHA: Organize field crews into efficient work cells, issue clear daily task vectors, and directly support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) safety tracking.
• Supply Chain Logistics: Oversee and meticulously inspect all incoming heavy material and component freight deliveries immediately upon flatbed offloading to verify counts and structural integrity.
• Asset Tracking & Inventory: Manage on-site parts inventory, track material stock consumption, and coordinate tool or specialized machinery allocations to eliminate field downtime.
• Fleet Readiness Support: Monitor and maintain critical fluid and fuel metrics for jobsite machinery, civil equipment, and backup generators, reporting needs proactively to the Foreman.
• Safety & Code Enforcement: Serve as a strict enforcer of OSHA standards, site environmental rules, and corporate risk protocols, immediately correcting unsafe acts or conditions in the field.
• Quality Control & Layout: Verify civil and mechanical site layout accuracy, guiding ground crews to meet or exceed strict manufacturer engineering specifications and quality benchmarks.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Safety Credentialing: An active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Certification is strictly required.
• Trade Foundation: Proven professional experience within general construction, civil earthworks, electrical trades, or commercial mechanical environments; prior experience serving in a leadership support capacity is a plus.
• Operational Literacy: Functional computer literacy with a basic understanding of mobile project tracking, tool tracking apps, and professional time management structures.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Fluent capability operating standard industrial hand tools, high-voltage power tools, and basic civil construction equipment.
• Mobility Infrastructure: Total adaptability to extensive, long-duration travel across the United States, remaining away from your home region for extended project cycles.
