Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Opportunity Highlights * Schedule: 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (44 week assignment) * Job Setting: Hospital, 34 anesthesia rooms * Types of Cases: Endoscopy, General, Ortho * Credentialing: 90 days (Emergency privileges under 30 days and Temporary privileges 30-60 days available) Responsibilities * Pre-anesthesia assessment * Obtains and/or verifies patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient * Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition * Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements * Board Certified/Board Eligible: BCRNA * Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists * Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia state license (possible to obtain, but ideally would already have) * Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
