Responsibilities include maintenance, distribution, and processing of library, technology, and makerspace devices and materials across district sites. The role also supports instructional programs, online assessment, and technical assistance for computers and related applications. Key Responsibilities Elementary Sites Maintain and distribute instructional technology and materials. Track and inventory site equipment such as computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, projectors, monitors, library materials, and makerspace equipment. Manage the makerspace inventory: verify, track, reorder, and check out teacher and student materials, including STEAM Lab classrooms. Circulate library, instructional technology, and makerspace materials; check materials in and out using a computerized system. Promote the use of new and existing makerspace, technology, and library resources to faculty and students. Coordinate with the iSTEAM2 Specialist to train staff and/or students in the use of equipment and software. Monitor student behavior and technology use in makerspaces and the media center. Middle School Sites Support elementary teams (CAN/GLO) in resolving work orders, inventory, and maintenance of instructional, library, and technology equipment. Assist in the distribution of materials at the beginning and end of the year. Train staff and/or students in information and digital literacy with the iSTEAM2 Specialist. All Sites Perform maintenance, processing, and distribution of instructional technology and materials. Track and inventory site technology, laptops, mobile devices, printers, projectors, and monitors. Circulate instructional, library, and technology materials; check materials in and out via a computerized system. Promote new and existing technology tools to faculty and students. Input, scan, and update student information in district systems; generate reports as needed. Train staff and/or students in technology use; collaborate with colleagues. Resolve support tickets and seek assistance from higher‑level specialists when required. Assist in software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of school websites. Provide technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff for equipment selection, location, and use. Compile records, lists, reports, and files related to equipment and instructional materials. Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and organizational matters. Attend mandatory meetings and training. Other Duties Perform related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Abilities Record‑keeping, report preparation, correct English usage, data control procedures, and oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in operating computers, peripherals, and assigned software is essential. Ability to collaborate, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to cybersecurity practices is also expected. Abilities Assist users in technology selection, location, and use. Monitor and maintain responsible student behavior in the library and makerspace. Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and community members to document processes and resolve support tickets. Organize inventory, order materials, and meet schedules. Operate a computer and maintain files, records, and reports efficiently. Communicate effectively in oral and written form. Model appropriate behavior and interact appropriately with children. Maintain regular attendance. Education and Experience Minimum requirement: high‑school graduation with computer‑related experience or training. Preference will be given to candidates who have: Completed at least two years of college study, or obtained an associate’s or higher degree, or passed an assessment demonstrating basic computer function knowledge. Working Conditions Environment: Library/makerspace and school environment with frequent interruptions. Physical Demands Visual ability to read documents and monitor screens. Verbal communication ability. Frequent handling of equipment up to 50 lbs and occasional handling up to 30 lbs. Regular sitting, standing, kneeling, and walking, including climbing stairs and steps. Manual dexterity required for operating technology and library equipment safely. Salary Schedule Salary Schedule: 711 Position Type: Full‑Time Salary: $28.34 to $42.83 Per Hour Job Requirements Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
