Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: Strict 75 mile radius from the address on the traveler’s driver’s license to the hospital.

Unit Details: Nurse aides available; CNAs are typically 1:8, generally 1:10, and may serve as sitters. Telemetry patients are monitored on a different unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Float to all acute care and cardio units to care for medical patients, or to the EC for acute care patient holds.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
