Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Housekeeping team. In this role you will assist with the daily operation of the housekeeping department and support the managers, supervisors, and associates in achieving the highest quality of cleanliness and service to guests. You are responsible for answering and following up on guest requests, allocating daily duties, performing clerical/secretarial duties, and maintaining the housekeeping office. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari. Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional, warm, and friendly working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates and other departments. Utilize and maintain the time and attendance system and applicable property processes to schedule all department associates and department daily, weekly, bi-weekly information to include all hours worked and modify information when applicable. Prepare all attendance counseling notices for managers and ensure timely signatures and follow through. What We’re Looking For Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent listening, communication and customer service skills. Must be a team player and enjoy working with people. Flexible long hours are sometimes required; that could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
