As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications. You will leverage Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance your coding efficiency and improve the overall quality of software solutions. Your expertise will help drive the integration of AI into our development practices, fostering innovation and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Java Applications: Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Java applications, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
• Leverage AI Tools: Utilize GitHub Copilot and other Generative AI tools to assist in writing code, generating documentation, and enhancing coding efficiency.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring best practices and standards are met while utilizing AI-powered suggestions for improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Testing: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, utilizing AI tools to streamline testing and validation processes.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest trends in AI and software development, integrating new tools and methodologies into your workflow.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Generative AI Tools: Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
