With TekPro as your hiring partner, you’ll step into a direct-hire role where craftsmanship meets innovation. As an Industrial Automation Machine Assembler & Integrator in Cary, IL, you’ll bring custom automated equipment from blueprint to fully functioning system.
Your missionOwn the mechanical build: translate prints into precise assemblies, align moving parts for smooth motion, and dial in final setup so each machine hits performance expectations. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with engineers to refine designs and squash issues through hands-on troubleshooting and debug.
Core responsibilities- Assemble custom automated machinery from engineering drawings/prints.
- Perform alignment, precision fit-up, and final machine commissioning steps.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during debug.
- Work closely with engineering to implement improvements.
- Operate hand tools and basic machine shop equipment safely and accurately.
- 2+ years of experience in machine building or automation assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a knack for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Hands-on proficiency with common hand tools and basic shop equipment.
- Technical schooling or an associate’s degree is advantageous.
- Pay: $23.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience
- Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Location: Cary, IL
