Job Opportunity: Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Duration: August 19, 2024 - June 4, 2025 Hours: Full-time Caseload: K-12th grade Location: Near Rochelle, IL Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team near Rochelle, IL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the academic year. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills. Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. Experience working with a diverse caseload in a school setting, including K-12th grade.
