Career growth and development Tuition Assistance Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package Position Summary The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Acute-Care: Works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the Speech, Language, Cognitive, Voice and Swallowing limitations and medical condition of patients Prescribes and implements a treatment program which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function. Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care. Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization Education Completion of a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited academic program Required Licensure, Certification, Etc. Licensure from State of Maryland, ASHA certification, Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification. Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required. Experience Completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Experience in Hospital acute care setting Shift: Full-time 40 hours per week Salary Range: Minimum $37.02 /hour - Maximum $61.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
