Cytologist - Day Shift | No Weekends

Job Description

Join a laboratory team supporting diagnostic services through the examination and evaluation of cellular specimens. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, with no weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Location: Kansas City, Kansas

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Sign-On Bonus: Not specified

Relocation Assistance: May be available; confirm eligibility

Responsibilities

- Prepare and evaluate cellular specimens according to laboratory procedures.

- Identify and document relevant cellular findings.

- Maintain accurate laboratory records and specimen documentation.

- Follow quality assurance, safety, and infection prevention protocols.

- Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and pathologists.

- Maintain compliance with applicable laboratory standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science degree.

- Cytotechnologist (CT) certification through ASCP or eligibility for certification.

- New graduates welcome.
