Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Overview Are you an upcoming diagnostic radiology technologist graduate or recent graduate? Please apply through our pipeline requisition here: This is a full-time, outpatient Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position at our Southside location. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts per week with NO call, NO night shifts , every fourth weekend, and only one holiday every other year. This role provides imaging services for both Urgent Care and outpatient visits. Responsibilities Operates imaging equipment in an outpatient setting. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Qualifications Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire. Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit. EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer.
