Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position is focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.Shift DetailsSchedule: Monday to Thursday, with one weekend per month and 1-2 call shifts per week.Shift Length: 9 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekUnit InformationDepartment: Operating RoomUnit Type: OR (Operating Room)Number of Surgical Suites: 6 ORs, 1 GI suiteResponsibilitiesAssist in various surgical procedures, predominantly in Orthopedic, GYN, and General surgery.Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients undergoing surgery.Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.Experience & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is required.Must have experience in Orthopedic, Gynecological, and General surgical procedures.Previous travel experience in an OR unit is preferred.Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be current at the time of application).Additional InformationAverage Cases per Day: 6-10, with the potential for up to 20 cases at times.RNs are not required to scrub.Emergency Medical Record System: MeditechOrientation: 1 week of unit-specific training provided.Floating Requirements: Occasional assistance in other departments without patient loads.Dress Code: Scrub colors provided.LocationThis position is based in a facility located in a city in the state.
