Hourly Pay Range: $33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
• Location: Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
• Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
• Hours: Monday-Friday, Day and PM shifts, will vary, rotating weekends, on-call schedule
• Additional Locations: Elmhurst Center for Health, Addison, and Lombard

What You Will Do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
• At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(MR) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, preferred
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure, preferred
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, as related to software
