SUMMARY: i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of HR Generalist. The role of the HR Generalist is to oversee daily function at mine sites, acting as a versatile professional covering recruitment, employee relations, and policy enforcement. This position will support staff and management, ensuring compliance with employment laws while fostering a positive workplace culture. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum 5 years experience in Human Resources SHRM Certification preferred Intermediate computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Proficient with HRIS systems Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize assignments and responsibilities Ability to give and take direction Ability to collaborate with decision makers in a professional manner and maintain confidential information Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a variety of personalities, with professionalism Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external personnel Detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task, and meet deadlines Positive can-do attitude Self-starter, able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Valid Nevada drivers license JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Facilitates employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
