Distribution Warehouse Lead - Weekday Day Shift

In this role you are responsible for providing timely support to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Clerk to ensure optimal flow of the operations.

Rotating Work Schedule: Day Shift Monday to Thursday and Monday to Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Support warehouse staff and interplant material handlers to ensure optimal shift efficiency.
• Investigate, document, and report shift incidents as required.
• Verify finished orders in the system and ensure shipment accuracy.
• Process outbound and inbound purchase orders, sales orders, and transfers.
• Train and guide associates on warehouse operations, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Recommend process improvements and provide input to the supervisor when requested.
• Maintain active floor presence to monitor and support assigned staff.
• Unload, scan, and properly store products in inventory.
• Perform monthly inventory counts, including posting journals and making adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate willingness to follow supervisor direction and continually expand knowledge and skills.
• Fill in for staff as needed to meet production schedules and work assignments.
• Serve as backup for Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Clerk roles when required.
• Collaborate proactively within cross-functional teams across diverse groups.
• Carry out quality and food safety responsibilities associated with the role.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of loading and shipping operations required in order to properly plan and execute a daily shipping schedule.
• Exhibits supervisory skills necessary to lead others, coordinate flow and meet
• Requires reading and math skills and computer literacy including MS Excel and D365
• Must have the ability to obtain and retain a forklift license for both sit down and standup
• Demonstrated time management and organizational
• Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks; work within time constraints; and shifting priorities is required.
• Ability to communicate well, both though written and verbal communication
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/ pull up to frequently and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
