Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Location

Kenansville, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 3 Days per Week (36 Hours/Week) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, monitoring and managing critically ill patients
• Float between ICU and Emergency Room as needed based on unit demands
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Prior ICU experience required; ER experience required due to float responsibilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined ICU/ER float role
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
