This position oversees nursing care and supervises clinical staff to ensure residents receive safe and effective services. It plays a key role in supporting daily care, coordinating staffing needs, and maintaining compliance with facility standards. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Nursing Supervision: Guide and support nurses during daily care, treatments, and medication delivery
• Care Coordination: Monitor resident conditions, review documentation, and ensure accurate medical record entries
• Staff Scheduling: Assign personnel, maintain required nursing care hours, and review attendance for accuracy
• Quality Oversight: Evaluate care plans, support interdisciplinary reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Safety Management: Identify health and safety risks and take corrective actions to protect residents and staff
• Team Leadership: Plan and evaluate work, mentor employees, address concerns, and support ongoing training needs

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 80 hours biweekly
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (1st shift), working every other weekend, with a 30-minute lunch. Training will be conducted on day shift.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
