This position is remote and will primarily support Business Enablement activities for key digital experiences for our annual conference, the National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI), with opportunity to extend into other product experiences over time. Some travel may be required.

Position Purpose: Responsible for leading and executing digital product ownership and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Serves as a key decision-making partner with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders in developing and refining product strategy, roadmap planning, and requirements definition. Leads core aspects of Agile product execution, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning support, and user story development, to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Applies independent judgment in analyzing market trends, user feedback, and performance data to inform product decisions, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous product improvement. Leads cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment, execution consistency, and successful product launches, while contributing to end-to-end product lifecycle strategy and optimization.

This role ensures alignment with product vision, provides ongoing product optimization, and enhances user satisfaction. The position works independently and without close supervision with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Main Accountabilities & Results:

Oversee effective digital product ownership and delivery that supports the organization's goals and objectives.

• Product Strategy: Developing and refining product strategy, driving alignment with business goals and market trends.

• Roadmap Planning: Define and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, incorporating key milestones, features, and deliverables.

• Requirements Management: Conduct market research, user feedback analysis, and competitive analysis to gather insights and define clear product requirements.

• User Story Development: Create and prioritize user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, actionable, and drives alignment with the product vision.

Manages and plans product owner activities to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

• Agile Execution Leadership: Direct Agile product development activities, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and sprint reviews, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of product increments aligned with business objectives.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Champion collaboration across design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution, unified communication, and alignment of strategic goals throughout the product lifecycle.

• Stakeholder Partnership: Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear, consistent communication to gather actionable feedback, manage expectations, and drive product alignment with organizational priorities.

• Product Launch & Continuous Optimization: Lead end-to-end product launch initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and translate user insights into strategic enhancements that optimize product value and elevate customer experience

Leads and prioritizes product ownership activities to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

• Product Lifecycle Strategy & Analysis: Monitor market trends, evolving customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities for product innovation, differentiation, and lifecycle optimization.

• Documentation Governance: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive product documentation—including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product evolution and stakeholder needs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms), and project/product management tools such as Azure Boards and DevOps.

• Ability to define and refine product strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.

• Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap, incorporating key features, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Demonstrated skill in conducting market research, analyzing user feedback, and competitive landscape to define clear product requirements and drive decision-making.

• Expertise in leading Agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews to support timely and successful product delivery.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms), and project management software and project/product management software such Azure board and DevOps.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of successful digital product delivery.

• Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Azure, Sharepoint, JIRA, Confluence) and knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) is a plus.

• Understanding of digital product management principles and processes.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in project/product management tools and software.

• Minimum 7 years of experience with responsibilities in project/product management and business analysis.

The role involves proactive problem-solving and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational objectives, achieve measurable results, and continuous improvement, with limited direct supervision.

Total Compensation:

The target pay range for this role is $124,948 - $156,185**
