Sanitation WorkerLake Forest, IllinoisType: Temp to HireManufacturing/ProductionSalary: $19 Per Hour3rd Shift Sanitation Technician will support the Production department in a variety of functions and tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow all safety procedures, report all safety issues to the immediate supervisor, use safety gear as requiredResponsible for the cleaning and sanitization of catch pans, bucket conveyor systems, utensils, walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, kettles, top of equipment, and other areas used in the manufacturing of food.Complete all necessary tasks required by Plant SanitarianMaintains the equipment wash stations and hand wash sink as per standard operating procedures.Reports damaged product-contact parts, utensils and/or equipment to a supervisor.Maintain all equipment cleaned by the Sanitation department.Follow all GMPs.Empty all trash, and product waste containers after cleaning is doneAbility to work with or with no supervisionFollow company guidelines regarding occupational safety OSHA including wearing appropriate PPE and following LOTOReport any hazards or concerns to the sanitation supervisorClean vinyl curtains, lockers, dock area for bailer, and dumpster.Complete Preoperational inspections with Quality StaffAny additional duties and responsibilities as assignedEmployees will be handling heavy hoses with hot water and chemicals.Qualifications:Effective communication skills, including basic writing skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret documents written in English such as safety rules, policies, standard operating procedures and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.3rd Shift:10pm – 6amAdditional hours including weekends will be required for sanitation it will when company needs or during peak seasons (August – December)Temp to Hire19.00/hrEverifyLake Forest, IL 60045
