Medical Laboratory Scientist II

Shift: Full-Time, Evenings (Second Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a 2-Year Commitment

Department Overview:

Join our fast-paced and dynamic laboratory team, where cutting-edge automation systems such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank LIS are at the heart of our operations. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you'll contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional laboratory services while helping drive forward medical advancements in healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform advanced laboratory testing in a variety of disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precise, reliable test results.
Analyze test data, ensuring strict adherence to quality control and quality assurance standards.
Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure fast, accurate diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continue your professional development through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP or a recognized accrediting body.
Preferred: Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
