Director, Data, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence - Oncology / Prostate Cancer

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director to lead data science and AI initiatives for oncology programs, specifically focused on prostate cancer clinical development. The role involves developing novel endpoints, deploying AI/ML solutions, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to advance clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific and strategic efforts for two clinical-stage prostate cancer programs within data science and AI
- Develop and validate novel prostate cancer endpoints across multiple therapeutic modalities
- Identify, develop, and deploy data science solutions including AI, trial design analytics, and real-world evidence strategies
- Collaborate with clinical teams, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and statistics to implement data science solutions
- Evaluate and manage external partnerships to leverage new technologies and data assets for prostate cancer programs
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MS) in data science, biostatistics, or related quantitative field
- 8+ years in drug development, biotechnology, AI, omics, real-world evidence, or clinical outcomes research
- Working knowledge of clinical oncology treatment paradigms, patient experience, and trial design
- Hands-on experience with data science applications in R&D and healthcare datasets (EHR, omics, imaging)
- Proficiency in predictive technologies, data mining, and text mining methodologies
- Track record establishing and managing external partnerships with corporate or academic institutions
