Responsibilities Configure and operate a variety of machining tools to achieve tight-tolerance specifications. Execute complex milling, turning, drilling, and tapping operations to transform raw materials into finished parts. Analyze technical blueprints and engineering drawings to guide production accuracy. Conduct thorough quality inspections to verify dimensional integrity throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. Proactively troubleshoot equipment performance to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output. Uphold a high standard of shop floor organization and safety compliance. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to extend equipment longevity and reliability. Partner with the production team to optimize workflows and meet critical project deadlines. Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a machining environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical blueprints. Demonstrated expertise with manual mills, lathes, and drill presses. Strong commitment to precision, quality control, and workplace safety. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency in machine setup and complex troubleshooting. Prior experience working within a precision manufacturing or industrial training setting.
