Drain Technician

United Mechanical, a Fidelity company, is looking for an experienced Drain Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in solving problems, working with specialized equipment, and delivering high-quality service. What You'll Do Clear and maintain drainage systems using motorized augers (snakes) and high-velocity hydro-jetting equipment Inspect sewer lines using camera equipment to locate blockages and identify pipe damage or structural issues Repair or replace broken, cracked, or leaking pipes, including work that may require excavation or cutting through walls or floors Assist with or complete installation of drainage systems, including PVC, copper piping, and sump pumps Diagnose issues on site and clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites Document work using tablets or handheld devices, including notes, photos, and videos What We're Looking For Strong understanding of plumbing and drainage systems and common pipe materials Experience using sewer cameras, hydro-jetting equipment, and standard plumbing tools Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, and working in confined spaces or varying weather conditions Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused mindset Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism Why You'll Love It Here Work with a team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the job right Access to ongoing training and opportunities for career growth Competitive pay and benefits A company culture that prioritizes safety, respect, and long-term careers-not just short-term jobs About Us: United Mechanical (UM), A Fidelity Company, is a leading full-service mechanical contracting company that offers commercial and institutional HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing services.
