Landscape Crew Leader

As a Landscape Crew Leader, you will play a key role in supervising and guiding a crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of landscape workers on a variety of projects, including planting, pruning, mulching, and irrigation tasks.
• Plan and manage daily work schedules to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Train and mentor crew members, fostering skill development and teamwork.
• Inspect work sites to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues as they arise.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
• Communicate with Account Management to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
• Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for all crew members.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or accidents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
• Experience as a landscape crew leader or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Certification from a recognized landscaping association (e.g., NALP) preferred.
• Experience with landscape design and installation projects preferred.
