Mobile MRI Technologist

Location: West Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 2 - 12 hour shifts per week scheduled between the hours of M-F, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile MRI Technologist to join our team for a new setup at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing the mobile MRI unit for operation and providing exceptional imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI scanner to capture high-quality images of the brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and musculoskeletal structures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and care teams to ensure quality imaging services.
• Perform patient assessments and work independently as a lone technologist.
• Assist in the setup and operational readiness of the mobile MRI unit prior to the official opening.
• Start IVs as required for contrast administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.
• West Virginia MRI license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
