Associate Veterinarian

Tempus Veterinary Recruitment

Introduction
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Issaquah, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its friendly, collaborative team. The practice provides a concierge-style approach to veterinary care, with an emphasis on accessibility, personalised medicine and building genuine relationships with clients rather than operating a high-volume model. Both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply, with personalised mentorship available for doctors early in their careers and opportunities to develop interests such as surgery.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The position is full-time, with the practice offering flexibility around scheduling and no regular weekend opening hours. The caseload combines scheduled wellness and sick appointments with same-day and next-day access for more urgent cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll provide comprehensive care across wellness and preventative medicine, sick visits, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery and urgent care. You'll perform examinations, develop individualised treatment plans and work closely with the veterinary and support teams to provide continuity of care while maintaining clear communication with clients. New graduates will have access to mentorship as they develop their clinical confidence and independence, while more experienced doctors will have the autonomy and support to continue developing their own areas of interest.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and provides full-service small animal medicine within a modern, client-focused environment. Veterinarians are supported by skilled technicians, dedicated client service staff and an experienced leadership team, with a culture described as friendly and laid-back while maintaining high clinical standards. The practice places particular emphasis on personalised care, accessible appointments and direct communication with pet owners, providing an environment where doctors can focus on individual patients while continuing to develop clinically and professionally.
