IT Specialist

IT Operations SupportBased in NYC only. This position is responsible for supporting daily IT operations across office users, including helpdesk support, hardware and software troubleshooting, user account administration, onboarding/offboarding, and IT asset management. Also, this role supports B2B & B2C business and operational systems, including EDI operations, 3PL and marketplace-related system coordination, SAP/BI support, and collaboration with HQ IT, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on IT operational experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.EDI Operations – Mandatory & Critical FunctionSet up and manage new EDI connections for new trading partnersConnect SAP ECP customer master to EDI profiles after customer creationManage and maintain existing EDI channels (850/856/852/753/754/810/940/945), ANSI X12EDI Platform experience (Intertrade, SPS, Cleo, etc)EDI file read/edit experience is a mustHandle EDI mapping, configuration, onboarding, testing, and go-liveMonitor daily EDI transactions and troubleshoot failures proactivelyWork closely with EDI vendors to ensure SLA delivery and issue resolutionSupport business & sales teams in improving EDI automation and accuracyStrong skills in project management, with experience leading cross-functional teams through complex technology initiatives.End-User Computing & IT OperationsOversee Windows & macOS troubleshootingLead hardware/software lifecycle: procurement, setup, maintenanceEnsure timely resolution of IT tickets with improved service qualityMaintain IT documentation, SOPs, and operational standardsVendor, HQ & Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with EDI, network, SAP, and hardware vendorsCoordinate with HQ IT for ERP alignment, compliance, and escalationsSupport cross-functional IT projects and initiativesIT HelpdeskProvide IT support to end users.Respond to IT requests and inquiries in a timely manner.Monitor and ensure proper functioning of IT systems/applications.Qualification and Experience:Minimum Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology mandatoryAt least 1-3 years of experience in an IT role2+ years- experience managing projects and people.Must be able to work in the NY office at least three times per weekExperience working with multiple stakeholders.Strong IT operational backgroundBilingual (Korean-English) is requiredSkill SetsAnalytical and problem-solving skillStrong written and oral communicationGood interpersonal & communication skillsAble to conduct research into application and software issuesPersonal AttributesWilling to work beyond contractual work hours when requiredThe role may occasionally require solo travel to other sites (such as Vermont / LA Brea)Given the nature of our IT work, candidates should be comfortable with server room / network infrastructure tasks, which can involve dusty environments and physical lifting (server equipment)Meticulous, analytical and independentPossess a strong sense of urgency, able to prioritize and meet deadlinesA confident self-starter with a high level of driveSelf-motivated, committed, determined, diligent and trustworthy natureResults oriented, resourceful, resilient, meticulous, has initiative, and willing to be "hands-on" when requiredGood listener and be a dedicated team player, willing to help others
