Number of Positions: 1. Job Overview Seasonal Laborer II duties include maintaining and improving public areas, operating equipment, and carrying out manual maintenance tasks. Duties & Responsibilities Cleans and maintains public areas such as restrooms, campgrounds, parking lots, trails, and beaches. Performs manual labor tasks that may require specialized skills. Installs, repairs, and maintains signs using hand or handheld power tools. Plants, transplants, prunes, trims, fertilizes trees, flowers and shrubs; seeds lawns and gardens; sprays for insects and plant diseases; cuts grass, rakes leaves, and waters plants as needed. Loads and unloads trucks, unpacks and stores supplies, and inventories equipment. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and tools. Repairs and paints guard rails; sets up traffic control items. Operates handheld power tools and attachments for tractors and trucks. Operates motor vehicles for assigned activities. Operates camp registration office, issues admission tickets, receives receipts, and maintains simple records. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum of six months of full‑time or equivalent part‑time experience in manual labor related to construction or maintenance. First consideration given to applicants applying within the first 14 days. Salary Notes Salary range is determined by experience, seniority, budget, and role nature. Short‑term positions are not part of the advertised salary scale; salary will be discussed during interview. Union‑represented roles follow bargaining unit salary schedule.
